1. What are stem cells?

The harvested dormant stem cells are incubated in stimulating growth factors, isolated and infused back into the patient intravenously. The whole procedure takes up to 4 hours in the operating room of the hospital under local anesthesia. It takes about an hour to harvest, 3 hours to incubate & stimulate the stem cells and infuse them back to the patient.
